There is so much more to Instagram and Facebook than scrolling through “pretty pictures”. This is what I learned working closely with the social media managers of Stella Rosa® and the Sweet Wine Club. They taught me the method to the constant neverending madness we called social media. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lot of fun creating playful images. However, planning, setting up and getting the right shot isn’t as simple as it sounds. Every image is hand crafted, designed and edited to perfection before it appears on your home feed.

Along with creating fun content, my main role included crafting Instagram and Facebook ads for promotional packs and merchandise items. These photos were a bit more tricky because sometimes we wanted the social media ads to feel more organic as opposed to in-your-face. This is where I would do a lot of planning with the social media manager to make sure it looks and feels consistent with the feed.
